I could hear your heart beating until it stopped at some moment. I tried to hear it again, but I could not.

until it stopped at some moment.

I tried to hear it again,

but I could not.

Silence takes over the situation.

I could not see anything around me

only your heart,

which went out like a candle.

We could not escape this rocket.

We tried hard, though, babe.

You knew.

I knew that you knew,

since you hugged me the last time,

that it would be the last time.

But it was so fast,

faster than the rocket.

I am touching your heart,

trying again

trying to find a beat,

but I find only a piece of meat.

Forgive me.

I wish I could come with you,

but then who

who will continue building our beautiful city?
