Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud arrived on Wednesday in Washington, D.C. for an official visit.
During the visit, the Saudi foreign minister will hold talks with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, focusing on bilateral ties and regional and international developments.

A week earlier, the two sides held a phone call on the ongoing tensions in Yemen and discussed issues affecting regional security and stability, according to a statement by the U.S. State Department issued on December 30.
