Tasnim News Agency has reported that a Thai-flagged cargo ship was hit by unknown projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz earlier this month and ran aground off the Iranian island of Qeshm.

Thailand stated that the Omani navy rescued 20 crew members of the ship, while three were missing, following an explosion at the stern of the Mayuree Naree, which caused a fire in the engine room.
