Iranian military spokesperson mocks U.S., warns region’s stability depends on Tehran
Official media outlets quoted the spokesperson of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters as saying on Wednesday that the United States is negotiating with itself. This came a day after U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Tehran wants to reach an agreement to end the war in the Middle East.
A source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Tuesday that Washington has prepared a 15-point plan aimed at ending the war and has sent it to Iran.

Ebrahim Zolfaghari, the spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, mocked the U.S. leadership, saying, "Has your internal conflict reached the point where you are negotiating with yourselves?"
He added, "People like us can never come to an agreement with people like you."
Zolfaghari emphasized that U.S. investments and energy prices will not return to their pre-war levels unless Washington accepts that the stability of the region is guaranteed by the Iranian Armed Forces.
