U.S. sees no immediate end to conflict despite Iran’s indirect messages
According to informed sources cited by CNN, Iranian intelligence agencies have conveyed indirect messages to the United States indicating a possible readiness to open talks on ways to end the war. However, U.S. officials stressed that no negotiations have begun yet, noting that reports of potential solutions to the conflict do not appear likely to take shape in the near term.
The sources added that these messages were transmitted through a third country to the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) as part of an indirect communication channel. So far, however, this channel has not led to any serious discussions on mechanisms to end the war or to the launch of a clear negotiation process.

Meanwhile, U.S. officials indicate that military operations have entered a more intense phase as part of the joint campaign with Israel, aimed at undermining Iran’s missile program and preventing Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said during a Wednesday briefing that the United States is "still at the beginning of the operation." Lawmakers who received a briefing from the U.S. administration on developments in the confrontation with Iran said they had not heard of any clear "end plan" for the conflict or of any potential diplomatic path at this time.
