The Israeli military aircraft carried out a raid on the Khayzaran area along the coastal road between Sarafand and Saksakiyeh in southern Lebanon.

The “Annahar” correspondent reported that the raid targeted an occupied building in Saksakiyeh, owned by town council member Ragheb Younes, resulting in a large number of injuries, amid extensive mobilization by ambulance and civil defense teams working to transport the wounded to hospitals.

The correspondent also mentioned that civil defense teams retrieved four victims from the rubble, as significant destruction was recorded in the targeted building, which was completely destroyed, with damage and cracks in an adjacent building. Search operations are still ongoing to rescue more victims and find survivors.

Additionally, the Ministry of Public Health announced that “the Israeli army’s raid on the town of Saksakiyeh in the Sidon district initially resulted in the death of four citizens and injuries to eight.

An Israeli airstrike also targeted the Sarafand area, striking a residential and commercial neighborhood in the town center, resulting in a number of injuries, as ambulances headed to the scene.
