In a dangerous development in the war on Lebanon, the Israeli army issued an urgent warning to evacuate large areas of Beirut’s southern suburbs, urging residents to “evacuate their homes immediately.”
The Israeli army said: “Urgent warning to residents of Beirut’s southern suburbs — save your lives and evacuate your homes immediately.”
It continued: “Residents of the Bourj al-Barajneh and Hadath neighborhoods — please head east toward Mount Lebanon on the Beirut–Damascus axis. Residents of the Haret Hreik and Chiyah neighborhoods — you must move north toward Tripoli on the Beirut–Tripoli axis and east to Mount Lebanon on the Metn Expressway. Beware: heading south is prohibited,” noting that “heading south may endanger your lives.”

Israeli shelling on Lebanon continues today, expanding from the south, the Beqaa Valley, and the southern suburb to Tripoli in the north and the airport road, while Hezbollah continues to launch rockets toward Israel.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health announced two martyrs and one injured person following the targeting of an apartment in Baddawi camp, and a wide air raid targeted villages in the Nabatieh district at dawn.
