The Syrian President, Ahmed Al-Sharaa, is making an official visit today, Wednesday, to the United Arab Emirates, where he will meet with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss regional developments and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.

 

 

Al-Sharaa and his accompanying delegation arrived in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where they were received by Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to SANA.

Gulf Tour 

 

Al-Sharaa began his Gulf tour yesterday, Tuesday, with a visit to Saudi Arabia, where he met Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. They discussed expanding economic and investment partnerships, as well as developments in regional and international affairs and their implications for regional security.

Earlier today, the Syrian President met in Doha with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and both sides affirmed the importance of bilateral relations and their development across various fields.

Al-Sharaa reiterated Syria's solidarity with Arab countries that have been subjected to Iranian attacks, and the meeting addressed the latest regional and international developments, as well as ways to coordinate efforts to maintain the region’s security and stability.
