She noted that the image of a hijabi woman presenting herself in an elegant, modern, and diverse way was enough to spark the curiosity of many, adding that followers also respond to the positive energy she strives to convey and to her commitment to her individual identity.

Regarding modest fashion in the Gulf and the increasing number of specialized events such as Modest Fashion Week in the UAE, she noted that she attended only one event in Dubai, which means she needs to follow more experiences before forming a comprehensive opinion. At the same time, she praised the creative vibrancy in the region, especially commending Lebanese designers and considering them an important presence in the Middle Eastern fashion scene.

About age and confidence, Benchaou, who is now forty-four, said she feels more comfortable and confident than at any previous stage, explaining that life experiences give a person strength and maturity that are not tied to youth. She added that true confidence stems from within, from knowing oneself and holding onto one’s truth, independent of others’ judgments.
