Israel maps “Forward Defense Line” in southern Lebanon amid ongoing military operations

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee says five ground teams and naval forces are operating south of the line to target Hezbollah infrastructure and shield northern towns from direct threats.

The spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, shared a map today, Sunday, on the platform "X", showing the occupied Lebanese towns, which Adraee described as the "forward defense line".

 

Adraee indicated that the "forward defense line" is where Israeli forces operate in southern Lebanon to "prevent a direct threat to northern towns".

He added: "These days, five military teams, alongside naval forces, operate simultaneously south of the forward defense line in southern Lebanon to destroy Hezbollah's infrastructure in the area and prevent a direct threat to the northern towns".
