UAE condemns Israeli attacks on Lebanon, calls for diplomacy and civilian protection
The United Arab Emiratescondemned in the strongest terms the attacks carried out by Israel on several areas in Lebanon, expressing concern over the continued escalation and its repercussions on security and stability in the region.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for international efforts to be intensified to stop the attacks and prevent the shedding of blood, emphasizing that civilians must enjoy full protection under international law and treaties.
In this context, the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the United Arab Emirates’ full solidarity with the Lebanese government and its support during this critical period for Lebanon, affirming its firm commitment to supporting Lebanon’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

It also affirmed the United Arab Emirates’ firm stance in rejecting violence, escalation, and uncalculated actions and reactions that disregard the laws governing relations between states and their sovereignty, which complicate the situation and increase the risks of instability. It stressed the necessity of resolving disputes through diplomatic means, avoiding confrontational and provocative approaches.
