Today, Monday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced the death of their intelligence chief, Major General Majid Khademi, in a U.S.-Israeli raid early this morning. Initial details did not mention the location of the attack, but the statement accused "American and Zionist forces."
Who is Majid Khademi?
Major General Majid Khademi is a brigadier in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and has held the position of Head of the "Revolutionary Guards' Intelligence Protection Organization" and the "Revolutionary Guards Intelligence Organization" since 2022.
Khademi was appointed as the new head of the intelligence division on June 19, 2025, succeeding Major General Mohammad Kazemi, who was killed along with other Revolutionary Guards officers in Israeli airstrikes during the "12-Day War" earlier that month.
