Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf accused the United States on Sunday of having double standards, saying it sends public messages about negotiations while secretly planning a ground attack against Iran.

Speaking on the occasion of the 30-day mark, which he described as the "National Defense," he stated that Washington presented "a list of 15 items reflecting objectives it has failed to achieve during the war and now seeks to impose politically."

Ghalibaf indicated that any attempt to impose “surrender” on Iran will be met with outright rejection, emphasizing that Iran’s response is clear: “No submission, no concession.”

He stated that “the Iranian armed forces are awaiting the arrival of American forces on the ground and will punish their partners in the region,” noting that “the war is at its most sensitive moments.”

Ghalibaf pointed out that “the enemy is angered and infuriated by the streets, which represent the broad front of the Iranian nation confronting the criminals of history.”

He added: “The enemy, which was planning to overthrow the regime in Iran, has made opening the Strait of Hormuz a main objective.”

In a different context, the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Islamabad will host a quadrilateral meeting on Sunday for the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt and Pakistan to discuss efforts to ease tensions amid the conflict involving Iran and the United States.
