Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid and Omani Sultan Haitham bin Tariq discussed regional developments and the consequences of the war on regional security and stability during a phone call on Tuesday.

 

Both sides emphasized the importance of immediately stopping the war and intensifying diplomatic efforts to contain tensions and prevent their spread. They also stressed the need to respect state sovereignty, prioritize wisdom, and rely on political solutions to spare the region further escalation and preserve its security and stability.
