Israel continues its strikes on Iran, more than a week into the U.S.-Israeli war on Tehran.
In the latest developments, the Israeli army announced attacks on ballistic missile launch sites, as well as various command sites of the internal security forces and the Basij in Iran, as part of an "expansion of the strike directed at all of the Iranian regime's systems and capabilities."
It noted that it attacked a "rocket motor manufacturing facility and several sites for launching long-range ballistic missiles intended to strike the State of Israel and its citizens."

Furthermore, the spokesperson stated: "On the other hand, the Defense Army continues to expand the strike directed at the military infrastructure of the internal security forces and the Basij. This includes the headquarters of the brigadier general corps of the Iranian regime, the main headquarters of the regime's internal security forces in Isfahan, a base previously used by the Revolutionary Guards and the Basij, and the command headquarters of the Revolutionary Guard's police."
The Israeli army described the Iranian internal security forces and the Basij as "part of the forces affiliated with the Iranian regime that have practiced terrorism for several years, suppressing Iranian citizens and routinely exercising severe violence against them."
In addition, Iranian media reported a missile strike targeting an airbase in the city of Bandar Abbas in the south of the country.
Meanwhile, Iran launched a missile barrage on Israel, intercepted by air defense systems according to the Israeli army.
"Until the regime falls" Amid all developments, the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper quoted an official in the General Staff saying that the army is preparing for a war expected to last at least a month. It also quoted senior Israeli military leaders as saying that “the campaign must continue until the Iranian regime falls."
