The Assembly of Experts in Iran has selected a new Supreme Leader
Ahmad Alamolhoda, a member of Iran's Assembly of Experts, announced that the council has made its decision and elected the new Supreme Leader of the revolution, noting that the council’s secretariat will officially announce the name soon.
He explained that the election was conducted according to the constitutional procedures approved within the council, emphasizing that none of its members has the right to change their vote after the decision has been made, in accordance with the provisions of the Iranian constitution.
These statements come amid domestic and international anticipation for the official announcement of Iran’s new Supreme Leader.

Earlier today, Israeli Army spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced that he expects the Iranian Assembly of Experts, which has not convened for forty years, to meet soon in the city of Qom to select a new Supreme Leader and reorganize the ranks of the Iranian regime following the death of Ali Khamenei.
He added, I want to emphasize that Israel’s long arm will continue to pursue the successor and anyone attempting to appoint him.
