Israeli troops set up checkpoint, detain four in southern Syria’s Quneitra province
Four young men were arrested after Israeli forces carried out an incursion in the past few hours into the northern countryside of Quneitra province, establishing a checkpoint on the road between Jbata al-Khashab and Ain al-Bayda.
An Israeli force comprising five military vehicles set up a checkpoint at the Kassarat road in the northern countryside of Quneitra province in southern Syria, between the towns of Jbata al-Khashab and Ain al-Bayda. Troops inspected passersby at the checkpoint and arrested four young men from Jbata as they were traveling through the area, later taking them to a nearby Israeli military point in Al-Hamidiyah, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency.

SANA said the move was "part of ongoing violations carried out by occupation forces in the countryside of Quneitra province," adding that the incidents have fueled concern and discontent among local residents.
