Hezbollah MP Mahmoud Qamati, extended his greetings to the people, praising their "patience, endurance, and steadfastness in the face of ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon."

He noted that "patience during the past period was meant to allow the state's diplomatic efforts to stop aggressions, achieve the withdrawal of the occupation, and halt violations," emphasizing that "this patience was not met with appreciation, as the aggressions continued daily, resulting in casualties and property damage."

He added that "adherence to the ceasefire agreement and the handover of weapons south of the Litani River did not stop the attacks, nor did it lead to any progress in the efforts toward liberation and reconstruction."

He said: "This new Zionist aggression against Lebanon was premeditated and ready, needing no excuse, and it was bound to happen sooner or later. The era of patience has ended, leaving us with no choice but to return to resistance. If only we had witnessed the government’s anger and defiance regarding the Israeli massacres in Lebanon—particularly in the South, Bekaa, and the southern suburb—instead of anger and accusations directed at the resistance, which, after a long, bitter, and painful period of patience, responded symbolically; this response will no longer remain symbolic following the enemy's latest escalation against Lebanon."

He stated that "the government, which protests against resisting the occupation and gains nothing from it, remains silent about the Zionist occupation, dishonor, and disgrace, working day and night to undermine the nation's strength, yet it cannot succeed in this, regardless of its decisions and actions, as such efforts contradict patriotism and sovereignty." He described the government as "violating international law, which allows peoples to resist occupations—a law that takes precedence over all local authorities, their decisions, and their legislation."

Qamati affirmed that "the right of peoples to resist occupation is guaranteed by international law," describing the latest developments as a new escalation, and concluded by emphasizing support for "the people and the resistance" in confronting the coming phase.
