Israeli fire hits areas near Lebanese army positions in southern Lebanon
Lebanese state media reported tank fire, machine-gun shots, and a drone incident near several border towns.

The surroundings of a Lebanese army unit came under fire while it was carrying out a joint field mission with UNIFIL near Wadi al-Asafir, south of the town of Al-Khiyam, after shots were fired from an Israeli tank that moved out from a newly established position in the al-Hammams area, according to the National News Agency.

The outskirts of the town of Aitaroun in the Bint Jbeil district were also hit this afternoon by machine-gun fire originating from a newly established Israeli army position inside Lebanese territory in Jabal al-Bat.
An Israeli drone dropped a sound bomb on the town of Markaba.
