Saudi Arabia decries 'blatant Iranian aggression,' affirms solidarity with Gulf partners
The Saudi Council of Ministers affirmed today, Wednesday, the “renewal of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s support and full solidarity” with the sisterly countries whose territories were subjected to what it described as “blatant Iranian aggression.”

The Council stressed, during its review of the latest developments in the region, that “the Kingdom will take all necessary measures to defend its security, protect its territory, and ensure the safety of citizens and residents.”
The Council reaffirmed that “the Kingdom’s security is a red line and it will not hesitate to take any necessary steps to preserve its stability and the safety of its territory in light of the rapidly evolving regional developments.”
Israel and the United States have been continuing airstrikes on Iran since Saturday after successfully killing Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Since then, Tehran has responded by launching missiles and drones at countries throughout the region.
