Under the patronage of UAE's President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended a mass wedding ceremony in Abu Dhabi today at Qasr Al Hosn, celebrating 101 grooms.

 

He congratulated the grooms and their families, wishing them a stable and happy married life. He emphasized that organizing mass weddings is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen social cohesion, support the stability of Emirati families, and make marriage more accessible for young people, contributing to the building of a united and resilient society.

 

He further highlighted that the patronage of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his ongoing support for community initiatives reflect the great importance he places on the Emirati family as the cornerstone of society. He emphasized that this approach reinforces the values of solidarity and cohesion, in line with the directives declaring 2026 as the "Year of the Family," celebrating authentic Emirati values and reaffirming the family’s pivotal role in the nation’s development.

The ceremony was attended by several sheikhs, senior officials, community leaders, and the families of the grooms. Organized by the Abu Dhabi councils under the Office of Citizens  and Community Affairs in the Presidential Court, in coordination with the "Medeem" initiative of the Department of Community Development, the mass wedding featured a variety of heritage segments, including folk songs, poetry recitations, and an aerial show.

 

This occasion is organized as part of supporting the goals of the "Year of the Family 2026," and strengthening the authentic values of the Emirati family and its role in building a cohesive and stable society.

 

Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi, expressed appreciation to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his continuous support for Emirati youth and families, and his keenness to empower youth and provide them with stability through his generous patronage of the mass wedding.

 

The grooms and their families expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the President for his generous patronage. They praised the presence of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, noting that it reflects the strong bond between the leadership and the citizens and demonstrates genuine care for the stability and well-being of Emirati families.

 

They affirmed that such national initiatives provide an easy start to married life while reinforcing the values of love and solidarity within society.
