Fires hit Jewish ambulances in North London, police investigate
London police said on Monday that fires were set to four ambulances belonging to a Jewish organization in North London, adding that the incident is being treated as an anti-Semitic hate crime.
The Metropolitan Police stated in a press release: "An investigation has been launched after fires were set to four ambulances of the Jewish community's ambulance service in the Golders Green area."
The police added: "Officers remain at the scene, and the deliberate arson attack is being treated as an anti-Semitic hate crime."

The ambulances belong to Hatzola, a non-profit volunteer organization that responds to medical emergencies.
The London Fire Brigade said it dispatched six fire engines and 40 firefighters to the scene after residents reported the incident at 1:40 AM GMT. It added that "several gas cylinders in the ambulances exploded, shattering windows in a nearby residential building. No injuries were reported."
The fire was brought under control by 3:06 AM GMT.
