UAE launches commemorative stamps marking AI’s integration into school curricula
Emirates Post has launched a commemorative stamp series marking a pivotal national milestone in the development of school education, represented by the adoption of artificial intelligence as a subject within the education curricula.
This step reflects the strategic direction of the nation towards embedding future skills within an institutional and systematic framework, enhancing the readiness of generations to effectively and consciously engage with rapid technological transformations.
The issuance of these stamps coincides with the launch of the artificial intelligence course in schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade, starting in the 2025-2026 academic year. This educational vision aims to equip students with basic knowledge to understand AI concepts and its applications in daily life, foster critical thinking and innovation, and promote solution-making skills, all in alignment with the country’s goals of digital transformation and human capital development.
The series comprises four commemorative stamps with a unified visual design bearing the slogan "Year of the Community – Learning with Artificial Intelligence." Each stamp depicts educational scenes within modern school environments supported by advanced digital elements, including smart device learning, robot applications, and the employment of future technologies such as drones in the educational context, reflecting the features of the future school in the UAE.
