Iran's Hamshahri newspaper Lists Figures Held Responsible for Khamenei's Killing
Hamshahri features Trump, Netanyahu, Rubio, and several European leaders following Mojtaba Khamenei's vow of "inevitable" revenge.
The conservative Iranian newspaper Hamshahri has published a list of figures it claims "must pay the price" for the killing of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, including U.S. President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and several European leaders.
The publication comes after the new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, confirmed in a written message published on Saturday that revenge for his father's blood is "inevitable."
Ali Khamenei was killed in the American-Israeli airstrikes that triggered the war in the Middle East on February 28, 2026.

In a letter dated Friday and published in full by the official news agency IRNA on Saturday, Mojtaba Khamenei, who has not appeared in public since the war began, wrote: "These criminals, whose names are fully listed from the first to the last, will carry to their graves the wish that they die a peaceful death in their beds."
On Saturday evening, Hamshahri published an illustration on its website featuring these statements, although it did not appear in the newspaper's Sunday print edition.
The illustration includes images of 13 figures, apparently referring to the list mentioned by Mojtaba Khamenei, though no names are explicitly identified.
It depicts Trump and Netanyahu with target symbols over their images, suggesting they are intended targets. The list also includes U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, along with several European leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and former British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
During the war, Iran accused several European countries of failing to condemn the attacks on its territory and even regarded some as parties to the conflict for allowing American military aircraft to pass through their airspace.
