The United States is pressuring Israel to allow the start of the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and is seeking to prevent the resumption of fighting. Among its demands is the recognition of a technocratic government as the governing authority in Gaza.

According to what was reported by the Israeli Broadcasting Authority “Kan” last night, Monday, the United States delivered Israel a document of demands related to the Gaza Strip and expects the Israeli government to provide written approval for it.

The document reflects American pressure to move forward with implementing the plan of US President Donald Trump, even without the disarmament of Hamas, along with Washington’s desire to prevent the war from resuming.

According to the document, Israel is required to do the following:

  • It must allow the implementation of infrastructure projects, including water, electricity, and others, in specific areas within the Gaza Strip.
  • It must commit to transferring residents from areas under Hamas control to areas that fall under the responsibility of the Peace Council by the end of the current year.
  • It must allow the construction of a central headquarters for the technocratic government.
  • It must grant the necessary approvals for building bases for the international force planned to be deployed in the Strip.
