Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said arrived today, Monday, at the Élysée Palace in the French capital, Paris, where he was received at the forefront of the welcoming delegation by French President Emmanuel Macron. The visit comes as part of an official trip he is undertaking to France.

 

 

 

 

Sultan Haitham bin Tariq arrived in France on Sunday for a two-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, which have steadily developed over more than five decades since the establishment of diplomatic ties.

This visit comes as part of reaffirming the strong cooperation between Muscat and Paris, with expectations that several agreements and memorandums of understanding will be signed in the fields of economy, investment, and trade, helping to broaden the scope of cooperation and further enhance exchanges between the two countries.
