The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday strongly condemned renewed “Iranian attacks” on its territory, rejecting what it described as repeated assaults.

Bahrain called for “urgent international action to stop these attacks,” stressing the “need for deterrent measures to ensure the protection of the region’s security and stability and the preservation of national sovereignty.”

Separately, the Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced that sirens were sounded, urging citizens and residents to “head to the nearest safe location and follow the approved safety procedures.”

The United States carried out airstrikes targeting Iranian military sites, stating they were “a response to Tehran’s attacks on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.” In response, Iran announced it had targeted American sites in Kuwait and Bahrain.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps also announced it launched strikes targeting Kuwait and Bahrain in response to American attacks on Iranian territory, warning that any further American aggression would be met with a “decisive response.”
