New messages promoting national unity appear along Rafic Hariri International Airport Road after authorities order removal of earlier images, following public and political reactions

After several days of “Thank you Iran” images spreading along the road to Rafic Hariri International Airport and sparking internal reactions, a lens from Al-Nahar captured the appearance of new images bearing the title “Lebanon First” along the same road.

 

Other banners also appeared reading: “Lebanon unites us.”

 

Interior Minister Ahmad Hajjar had announced on Thursday, ahead of the Cabinet session at Baabda Palace, that he had issued instructions to remove the previous images.
