The United Arab Emirates welcomed the announcement of a trilateral framework agreement between Lebanon and Israel, brokered and supported by the United States, and commended the diplomatic efforts made by US President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio to facilitate the agreement.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that this development represents a positive step toward fostering an environment conducive to regional stability. It stressed the importance of continued international coordination to prevent further escalation and avoid its humanitarian and security consequences across the region.
The United Arab Emirates reaffirmed its full solidarity with the Lebanese state during this phase, emphasizing its support for Lebanon's efforts to ensure that weapons remain exclusively under state control and to dismantle terrorist organizations, describing this step as a pivotal milestone in strengthening national security and stability.
The UAE also reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to supporting Lebanon's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and its continued support for the Lebanese people in helping achieve their aspirations for security, stability, development, and prosperity.
