Dubai has strengthened its drive toward building a more integrated digital ecosystem to enhance the efficiency of government services by hosting the “Life Digitization in Dubai 2026” event.

The event witnessed broad participation from government entities across services, data, and digital technology sectors, with the aim of accelerating the development of the digital work model and unifying government efforts to enhance integrated digital services and user experiences.

The Government of Dubai aims to accelerate the adoption and widespread use of artificial intelligence applications in government operations in order to enhance the quality of life.

The event serves as an annual platform to unify government visions and approaches related to services and digital channels, where participants discussed ways to strengthen institutional coordination, speed up the resolution of shared challenges, and translate strategic directions into clear implementation plans with defined performance indicators and assigned responsibilities.

The workshops focused on four main themes: data readiness for artificial intelligence, the future of government services and experiences, the implementation of AI applications, and the future of digital maturity.

Participants discussed the development of interconnected, high-quality data systems, the integration of artificial intelligence and assistive intelligence technologies into government operations, and the creation of innovative models to measure digital maturity and support continuous improvement.

Hamid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai, told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) that Dubai is entering a new phase in which data, systems, and services are integrated into a unified, people-centered ecosystem, relying on artificial intelligence to deliver more proactive and user-focused government experiences.

According to the agency, a set of executive pathways linked to the four themes was agreed upon, with clearly defined responsible entities and regular follow-up mechanisms, strengthening shared accountability, accelerating implementation, and reinforcing Dubai’s global competitiveness and digital leadership.
