Israeli raids continued on towns in southern Lebanon today, Friday, despite the announcement by US President Donald Trump of a memorandum of understanding with Iran that reportedly includes Lebanon.

Since the morning, an Israeli drone targeted the town of Jibchit in the Nabatieh district, while warplanes carried out strikes on the Arid Debbine area in the Marjayoun district.

In addition, Israeli forces conducted an explosion operation in the town of Khiam, toward the plain, at dawn. This coincided with low-altitude drone flights over Bayssariyeh and its surrounding areas.

Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon

The Israeli army, for its part, announced that it conducted around 310 raids in southern Lebanon over the past week.

Army spokesperson Ella Wawiya wrote on “X” that approximately 310 Hezbollah targets were struck in the Northern Command with air force support, and that about 80 members were eliminated in southern Lebanon.

She added that these operations coincided with ground forces’ activity along the front defensive line aimed at destroying infrastructure and removing threats against Israel and its forces operating in the area.
