On Thursday, 22 countries, including the United States and European states, called on Iran to stop targeting individuals on their territory.

These countries condemned Iranian security services for the “shameful” use of international and domestic “criminal” gangs in conspiracies across Europe, North America, and Australia.

A joint statement issued by these countries said that “attempts to kill, kidnap, harass, intimidate, or attack individuals on our territories in any form undermine national sovereignty and international norms,” adding that “these actions must stop immediately.”

The statement indicated that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps intelligence services, along with the Quds Force responsible for external operations, have been involved in “deadly conspiracies and malicious acts” against Iranian dissidents, journalists, communities, and Jewish and Israeli interests.

It added, “We are united in our determination to protect our countries and peoples from these threats. The Islamic Republic of Iran must stop these actions now.”
