Gulf states condemn Iranian missile and drone strikes on US bases in region
UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan call attacks a “blatant violation of sovereignty” as regional tensions escalate and calls for de-escalation grow.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard launched missile and drone attacks on American military bases in Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain on Wednesday, prompting widespread condemnation of the Iranian assaults.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned “in the strongest terms the treacherous Iranian terrorist attacks targeting the sister Kingdom of Bahrain, the sister State of Kuwait, and the sister Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with missiles and drones.”
In a statement, it affirmed that “these terrorist attacks represent a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the three sister countries and a threat to their security and stability.”

The ministry expressed “the UAE's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and its support for all that ensures their security and stability.”
