The United Arab Emirates expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli targeting of a Lebanese Army vehicle in southern Lebanon, which resulted in the deaths of two officers and the injury of another soldier.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the country's firm rejection of any attacks that undermine Lebanon’s sovereignty, security, and stability or target its legitimate institutions.
It stressed its full solidarity with the Lebanese government and its support during this critical period that Lebanon is going through, while reaffirming its steadfast commitment to supporting Lebanon’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs also extended its sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to the Lebanese government and people, following this attack.
