This represents an increase of 50 percent compared to the FIFA World Cup 2022, in line with the 50 percent rise in the number of participating teams, which increased from 32 to 48 national teams.

While each national team will receive 1.5 million US dollars to cover preparation costs, the bulk of the amount allocated by FIFA, totaling 655 million US dollars, is designated for prize money.

The winner will receive 50 million US dollars, the runner up will receive 33 million US dollars, and up to 9 million US dollars will be awarded to each of the 12 teams eliminated in the first round.

In the FIFA World Cup 2022, the champions, Argentina, received 42 million US dollars, and the runners up, France, received 30 million US dollars. As for the 16 teams that were eliminated in the first round, each received 9 million US dollars.
