The French presidential envoy and former minister Jean-Yves Le Drian arrived to meet with Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri at Ain el-Tineh.

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received the French presidential envoy, accompanied by the French ambassador to Beirut, Hervé Magro. During the meeting, they discussed the outcomes of the Washington negotiations and efforts to reach a ceasefire.

The French presidential envoy is set to arrive in Beirut next Wednesday to hold a series of talks with all Lebanese leaders. It is worth noting that Le Drian has repeatedly stated in interviews with French media that Lebanon is in danger.
