Israeli airstrikes devastate Jabal Amel Hospital in Tyre, leaving patients and medical staff injured
Heavy Israeli raids struck the area surrounding Jabal Amel Hospital in southern Lebanon, causing widespread destruction, damaging the medical facility, and injuring patients and healthcare workers amid escalating attacks on Tyre.
The Israeli targeting of the area surrounding Jabal Amel Hospital in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre marked a dangerous escalation in the ongoing Israeli war on Lebanon over the past four months.
Heavy Israeli airstrikes, which destroyed several buildings around the hospital, caused extensive damage to the medical facility, which has continued to receive war victims and treat the wounded despite growing daily risks resulting from the Israeli escalation.

The attack also damaged parts of the hospital itself, leaving sections of the facility in ruins and injuring patients receiving treatment in its wards and intensive care units.
Several members of the medical staff were also wounded in the strikes, further complicating the situation on the ground. The city of Tyre is considered an operational area by the Israeli army and has been subjected to a violent air campaign in recent days.

Photos captured by colleague Houssam Charabaty documented the scene inside Jabal Amel Hospital and its surroundings, showing the scale of the destruction caused by the Israeli attack on a medical facility that is supposed to be protected under international law during armed conflicts.
Severe damage also affected ambulances parked in the garage, along with several other vehicles belonging to citizens and hospital workers.
According to the "National News Agency", the Israeli raids resulted in four deaths and 50 injuries, in a preliminary toll.
