Israeli airstrike hits Al-Maghazi Camp in central Gaza, killing 5 amid escalating tensions
Gaza strike leaves casualties as clashes, air raids, and internal unrest intensify across the strip.
Five Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Al-Maghazi camp in central Gaza Strip on Tuesday morning, as reported by the Civil Defense and a medical source.

The spokesperson for the Civil Defense, Mahmoud Basal, told Agence France-Presse (AFP) that "five martyrs and several injured were transported after an Israeli drone strike" on the eastern part of the Al-Maghazi camp. Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah confirmed that the same number of deaths and injuries had arrived.
The emergency department at the hospital added that at least one body was "torn and charred," noting that nine injured individuals had arrived at the hospital.
An security source in Gaza told AFP that the airstrike occurred "while a number of citizens were trying to confront a band of occupation collaborators who attempted to raid several homes in the east of Al-Maghazi camp."
A Palestinian armed group opposed to Hamas, supported by Israel, is believed to be comprised of hundreds of fighters in areas under Israeli military control in southern Gaza Strip.
These groups have carried out several kidnappings and killings targeting Hamas activists in southern Gaza Strip, according to security sources in Gaza.
