The closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival became a global platform celebrating Lebanese creativity in high fashion, as Lebanese designers made a strong presence on the red carpet with exceptional designs worn by some of the world’s biggest stars.

 

Despite Demi Moore maintaining her status as one of the most elegant and influential stars on social media platforms throughout the festival, the most talked-about moments at the closing ceremony carried a Lebanese signature, as Eva Longoria and Penélope Cruz dazzled in looks that stole the spotlight.

Eva Longoria caught attention in a strapless light golden dress adorned with crystal and sparkling sequin embroidery, featuring a back slit and a long train from the Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2026 collection by internationally renowned Lebanese designer Elie Saab. Penelope Cruz Surprises the World with a George Chakra Design

Unlike her usual choice of Chanel, Penélope Cruz shone in an archival dress by the world-famous Lebanese designer George Chakra. The dress is from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection, featuring a long strapless cut, composed of two layers and adorned with black-and-white feathers.
