The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister, Kazem Gharibabadi, stated on Tuesday that the proposal Tehran submitted to the United States includes lifting the sanctions imposed on Iran, releasing frozen Iranian funds, and ending the blockade.

He added that the proposal also includes ending the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, the withdrawal of U.S. forces from areas close to Iran, and the payment of compensation for the damages caused by the war.

Iran delivers new 14-point text to Washington via Pakistani mediator

Iran had delivered yesterday its latest text consisting of 14 points through a Pakistani intermediary.

A source close to the negotiating team indicated that the Americans had recently sent a response to the previous Iranian text, which also included 14 points. Iran, in turn, resubmitted its text after making amendments to it, according to the procedure followed in recent weeks for exchanging messages through the Pakistani mediator.

According to the source, the new Iranian text, which still consists of 14 points, focuses on the issue of negotiations to end the war and on confidence building measures from the United States side.

A very positive development in the talks with Iran

United States President Donald Trump welcomed on Monday what he described as a very positive development in the talks with Iran, saying it had convinced him to postpone a planned military attack against the Islamic Republic.
