In a new warning to Iran, U.S. President Donald Trump posted an image on Truth Social bearing the words “The Calm Before the Storm,” showing Iranian ships at sea and signaling a possible upcoming military action against Iran.

Earlier, Trump stated that Iran would face a very bad time if an agreement is not reached.

He told the French channel BFM that he was unsure whether an agreement with Iran would be reached soon, but noted that the Iranians are interested in reaching one.

The White House also posted on its X account an image of Donald Trump portrayed as James Bond, in the role of “Agent 007.”

The image was accompanied by the phrase "Make America Great Again".

Earlier, The New York Times revealed, citing Middle Eastern officials, that the United States and Israel are making intensive preparations for the possible resumption of military operations against Iran, potentially as early as next week, amid growing assessments that the diplomatic track is collapsing.

According to the report, Donald Trump returned from his visit to China facing a crucial decision on whether to resume military strikes against Iran, after what the report described as peace talks that have faltered in recent weeks.

Israeli estimates indicated there is a 50 percent likelihood that Trump will resume military action against Iran.
