Regarding the Baccalaureate exams, Minister Karami stated in a press conference: "We made a difficult decision to reduce the curriculum. There will be no optional subjects in the general Baccalaureate, but the greatest reduction was in history, geography, and national education."

She added: "We decided to adopt three consecutive sessions for the official exams, and each student has the right to participate in two consecutive sessions. The decision for the three sessions was made in consideration of the students' circumstances."
