Hours after the end of the third round of direct negotiations between Lebanon and Israel, the Israeli army reissued an evacuation warning to several towns in southern Lebanon, namely Shabriha, Al Hamadiya in Tyre, Zaqouq Al Mafdi, Al Maashouq, and Al Haush.

This came after an Israeli escalation throughout the night, marked by continuous artillery shelling on the outskirts of the towns of Qalawiyah and Burj Qalawiyah, and a drone strike targeting a residential apartment in Al Haush, which led to fires breaking out and caused injuries.

Israeli forces also fired heavy gunfire toward Wadi al Hujayr and the surroundings of the towns of Froun and Al Ghandourieh.

At night, warplanes carried out air raids on the towns of Qana, Al Qulaylah, Shhour, Debaal, and the area between the towns of Al Sultaniyah and Tebnine.

On its part, the Israeli army announced the killing of a soldier from the Golani Brigade in battles in southern Lebanon.

In a statement, the Israeli army said it destroyed a platform in the Zibdin area used by Hezbollah last night to launch rockets toward Kiryat Shmona, and it also attacked buildings used by Hezbollah for military purposes and to target its forces.

Israeli Army Radio noted that the number of soldiers killed in southern Lebanon since the ceasefire has risen to 6.

Israeli media reported hearing an explosion after sirens sounded in the Galilee in northern Israel, while the Israeli army announced it intercepted a projectile launched from Lebanon toward northern Israel.

Operations of Hezbollah

In a series of operations, Hezbollah announced targeting Israeli aircraft and drones in the skies over southern Lebanon with surface to air missiles.

It also targeted an Israeli force that was observed infiltrating toward the water pump north of the town of Taybeh, and two D9 bulldozers moving from the town of Rashaf toward the town of Hadatha, in addition to targeting an Israeli force near the newly established Bayyadah site, a Merkava tank, and another force that moved in Baydar al Faqani in the town of Taybeh.
