The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, visited today the events of the fifth edition of the “Make in the Emirates 2026” platform, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
During the tour, Bin Zayed reviewed the latest technologies and products on display, as well as innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing the competitiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of national products across various vital sectors.
He also learned about the application of technology to support and develop local production systems. He listened to explanations from the platform organizers about the prominent initiatives and new projects announced during the events.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stated that the industrial sector is one of the key pillars supporting and diversifying the national economy, affirming that enhancing its role is a strategic priority for the UAE.
This stems from its ambitious vision to empower national industries, create a stimulating environment for innovation and investment in future industries, and provide opportunities for Emirati talent in this critical field. He also praised the level of participation, which highlights the development of the industrial sector in the country and its competitive advantages.
The Emirati President met Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, at the conclusion of his tour of the platform.
