Dubai’s ruler, Mohammed bin Rashid, announced that during the inauguration of the Dubai Metro Blue Line—spanning 30 km, half of it underground—14 iconic stations will serve one million people and reduce congestion in Dubai by 20 percent.
He added via the platform “X”: “10,000 employees and engineers are racing against time, with a budget of 20 billion dirhams, to launch this line by 9-9-2029, in addition to another 34 billion for the Gold Line, to complete the latest and most beautiful metro in the world.”
He said: “Our major projects to reshape the new Dubai continue, including our new global airport, future transportation lines, the international financial center in a new look, digital infrastructure, and government services equipped with autonomous AI technologies, along with many projects we will launch in the coming months.”
Bin Rashid confirmed that "Dubai is the most future-ready city in the world, and whoever bets on Dubai bets on the future."
