BEIRUT: After its expansion in the American, European, and the Middle Eastern market, and in an effort to compete with the Asian market by expanding its product range and collections, “Images d’Orient” inaugurated the opening of its first flagship boutique earlier this month in Rue du Liban during the Beirut Design Week.
The event took place in the presence of the founders Charbel Raphael and Peggy Raphael Dabar. During the occasion, Dabar said that “Images d’Orient” is a contemporary concept that pays tribute to the legacy of ancient civilizations. He further highlighted that they believe in a world where diversity is embraced.
This brand is known for its designed coasters inspired by old cement tiles that were found in almost all Lebanese homes, but also a full range of home goods.
Its mixture of colors, materials, and concepts harmoniously brings the East and West together.
It's in this spirit that the architect Rabih Geha designed the shop by adding a touch of modernity to oriental styles with blue Mediterranean color arcades that perfectly complement the concept.
