Pakistan army chief, AsimMunir, held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi inTehran on Friday as Islamabad steps up diplomatic efforts tohelp mediate between Iran and the United States, Iran's statemedia reported on Saturday.
Both sides exchanged views on the latest diplomaticinitiatives aimed at preventing further escalation and endingthe Iran war in talks that lasted late into the night, thereport said.
