BEIRUT: Lebanon is taking on China on Thursday as it seeks to come closer to securing qualification for next year’s FIBA Basketball World Cup in the People’s Republic.
Lebanon is currently second in its in group C, tied on 11 points with Jordan. Yet the Kingdom is currently first for having better overall game stats.
China is third in its group, behind New Zealand and Korea.
Tomorrow’s matchup is part of the second round of qualifiers, with teams vying to seal their place at the much-coveted tournament.
Lebanon should be confident in securing a win, with their stat line superior to that of China.
The game will be held at the Nouhad Nawfal Sports Complex in Zouk Mikael at 9h30pm local time.
