Palestinian boy miraculously escapes death in Lebanon's refugee camp

BEIRUT: A Palestinian toddler miraculously escaped death after being run over by a truck in the Borj Al Barajneh refugee camp where he lives. 

The camp is located in Beirut's southern suburbs. 

The video, which went viral, shows a truck belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) running over one-year-old Yousef Jamal Ali, who was walking unattended on the streets on July 10, 2018, the date on the video shows. 

Security sources in the camp, who spoke to Annahar on condition of anonymity, said that Ali is suffering from a broken bone in his thigh.

The source also revealed that the man who held the little boy is his grandfather identified as Abo Rabih Dabdoub.

Ali's mother, who is seen picking him up later, refused to talk to the media.
