Samir Geagea Instagram account hacked

The account was hacked by a group of unidentified individuals who "asked for a ransom in exchange for its return," according to a statement released by the LF.

BEIRUT: Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea's personal Instagram account was hacked Monday, according to a statement released by his party's office.

The account was hacked by a group of unidentified individuals who "asked for a ransom in exchange for the return of the account," read the statement. 

The LF have contacted Instagram in an attempt to retrieve the account while also submitting a complaint with the relevant Lebanese authorities. 

Instagram is a billion dollar company that provides a simple photo sharing service.
